As you can see from the attached screen shot - it seems to place all the nodes at the top of the window - but then the scroll bar is set at the bottom of the window - so you have to scroll all the way up to the top to see your settings - and that can be a long scroll!
Most annoying!

I was experiencing this in P6 on a regular basis.
PoserPro2014(Sr4), Win7 x64, display units set to inches.

Never had it in P6 - may be worthy of a bug report as I'm not the only one then...

Heh. I thought that was an old P5 feature. :P
Seriously though it used to happen to me a lot way back with P5. Maybe it's an old bug come back to life?

Before you exit the material room click on a node near the top of the screen...
It happens to me if focus is on a bottom node.

I have had this problem in p6 as well, even with materials that I have saved. Will click on one of the top nodes first in future.
Thanks

I've seen this frequently in Poser 6. Haven't encountered it - yet - in Poser 7.
Clicking on a top node is a good tip. I'll try that!

Quote - its not a bug! its a special feature!
That's more apt than you probably meant it to be.
Poser is trying to be helpful and remember where you were....that doesn't mean that is were you want to be.

I was just using Poser 7 in conjunction with a runtimeDNA Material Room discussion less than 12 hours ago - no problems.

Haven't had this happen yet and have been doing some extensive nodework lately.
From your screenshot... are you on dual monitors? I don't see your poser interface background, just your desktop.

I haven't had this happen, but only one of my materials is lengthy enough for it to show up. I'll try moving it around and cutting and pasting it to see if this happens. I'll get back to you soon (my Poser 7's in the middle of rendering a 700,000 poly scene).
