I have been trying to get the upgraded WW to work in P7 but aint having much success. I've followed the installation instructions in the correct order but can get the clothes to fit properly.
BTW I tried the new WW plugin for V4 in P6 and that worked well with the couple of dresses I've tried. If anyones got any advice I'd like to here it.
Regards Alex

PhilC has a site with a Wardrobe Wizard forum. I see there is a thread there about WW and Poser 7. Perhaps have a look at that and see if there are any answers for you there. Also, Phil tends to check his forums more than others, and he is the expert on the program and the one who will be able to help you the best."It is good to see ourselves as

are, especially the evil side of us.

heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi

If you'd like to email me renders of your conversions I can take it from there.

Different outfits will have different levels of success.
I tried a pirate outfit for Aiko onto Vicky 4 and the crotch was a chaotic mess - it looked like a single polygon was forming the entire crotch seam - so bad that it wasn't worth fixing, althoutgh the jacket came in well enough. But I did 'Black Lotus' from Aery Soul and got good results for everything but the boots, enough so that I kept the results in my gallery.
But it will vary by outfit and by figure. I suggest trying to convert an outfit that you converted in poser 6, again in poser 7. Get rid of you 'analysis' file from the Poser 6 conversion first - so that the entire process has to start over (back it up rather than delete it). You should see identical end results if the outfit and figures are the same.
Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Different modelers , different modeling software and different figures equal somewhat different levels of quality on a standard use conversion. There are a whole toolbox worth of conversion tools in Wardrobe WIzard to attempt to accomadate the varibles in the creation of the clothes.
Most of the time, standard conversions do the job, but given the variables--it's a bloody miracle it works at all! LOL Don't give up and keep at it. ^__^ V,,

Thanks All I went to PhilC's Forum and found a relevant thread. Think I've got it now but now I'll try copying The Sydney and Simon scripts to my P6 copy and see If I can get them to work there as well. Its a bit more straightforward till SR1 come out.

A quick word of caution.
Yes you can move the SidneyG2 and SimonG2 data files into P6 but DO NOT transfer anything else. Look in the readme. If you install the Poser 7 update files into Poser 6 it will stop working.
Also there is a refinement added to the Poser 7 version to accommodate the G2 waist groups that you'll not get in Poser 6.
Other than that the nuts and bolts of how the program works will be the same in either version.
