Has anyone experienced something like this? Is there a workaround for P6 or 7?
Installing P4 is not an option as there are other items I'll also be using that cannot be used in P4 correctly.

turn off IK, restore figure?
Ghostofmacbeth posted Thu, 28 December 2006 at 2:49 PM
It looks like it could be IK but it might just be a glitch in the versions. (the joints have changed along the way to s small degree). I get locked points and feet sometimes on things I test but I don't really know how to fix them. Just know how to pint them out.

Restore figure just returns the figure to it's default position, the one I showed in my first posting with the arms twisted.
Here it is with joints zeroed.

Yup, it's doing it to me too. I honestly haven't loaded this up in years. Give me a bit to see if I can figure it out.

Here you go, Fixed to work in P6 and up. Just re-download and replace the files. You will find a P6 version in the Zip file.JoePublic posted Thu, 28 December 2006 at 5:09 PM

Do you mind explaining what exactly the problem was ?

I didn't really examine the files. I just recreated the joints for the arms. You could try examining the two files and see what is different.

it looks like he fixed the elbow JPs, e.g. the rotation centres (zyx).
