You can resume renders (even if you've closed Bryce in certain circumstances), but not if you've already restarted.
In any case, you definately have my sympathies.

Oh, poor Rosie........I feel for you.
I did a similar thing the other day in Photoshop. Was working on a very complicated texture, with loads of layers, turned the most salient one to grey scale to check the bump mapping and accidently hit the save button. Fortunately I had a jpg saved of the original, but can't tweak it any more.
Hope you have a good new year, apart from that.

Pam.. sigh..i wish you had come to us before you shut that file. use ctrl-alt-z and you can go back quite a few steps behind..even if you have saved it. once you get it back to where you want it, resave it or save it as another file.
never mind..we all go thru this... and man..it teaches patience. lots of it.
but i do say.. if we ever had a choice, i think most of us here would say..ban rendering and give it to us straight.. someway or the other. one button click and whoop bang.. the rendering gets done for us in one second. soem dream. maybe in bryce's 10th version. or 20th since even maya has rendering blues. :-P
have a lovely new year... everyone...and may your year turn out to be a beautiful one...
