Hi all,
Recently my comp crashed for the last time. Haven't lost any work really I've been using an outboard drive to store files.
My Dad fell and broke his hip the day after Christmas. He'll be 89 next month.
He had a hairline fracture in the ball part of the joint that they've fixe with a plate and screws, but it'll be a slow recovery at his age.
He's holding up better than my Mom though. He's been her lifeline for a couple years, as she's borderline Alzheimers now. And I've had to fill in for him. She's worrying herself sick, and I'm having a bit of a struggle getting her to leave him to eat and sleep, but her sister and brothers have been a lot of help.
It looks like I may have to take vacation, and even get FMLA family medical leave because I'd like to get Dad home to care for him and be able to look after Mom as well as he gets better, too.
Prayers, good thoughts appreciated. Hope to soon have a new comp and more time to use it soon and thanks for listening,
John
