I haven't had much problem with this until recently, but I've noticed in several of the texture maps I've bought for V3, the areola gets huge when you increase the breast size (even just a little)
But it seems other texture maps don't do this, or it's not so much of a problem.
Other than photoshopping the texture map to make the areola smaller, is there any other solution to this problem. (I don't like big areolas)
Thanks for any advice,
Lee

areola size morph doesn't help you?

if the surface area increases, I thought the area would increase as well.

It's the same with real life boobs too... IMHO the larger breast with smaller areola always looks like fake silicone boobs to me... Nothing really wrong with that, but just an observation!! LOLZ!!

I had already tried the areola morph, it doesn't change the texture since the areola is also textured on top of the breast itself.
And I agree small areolas look funny on big breasts, but I also don't want them the size of a truck tire either!
I guess I'll just go back to using one of my other V3 textures. But I was still curious as to why some textures do this and some don't. I guess you have to start with smaller sized areolas in the texture for them not to "explode" all over the breasts!

if a texture map has part of the areola on the breast porton, and not textured entirely within the areola area of the model, then the size of the breast will increase the size of the areola

Bing! Bing! templargfx read my mind and wrote it in reply. If the areola portion of the texture is not properly restrained to the areola portion of the UV map, it will stretch will the 'increase breast size' since the polygons of the breast are being expanded - without much help from twiddling nipple dials (so close to innuendo) as the already stretched portion is not affected by them.
A possible fix is to load the texture maps and UV template into Photoshop or PaintShop and do a little editing to correct this (though, I admit that the texture creators should have done this in the first place!!!).

And I thought it was just me who thought this "spread" was just wrong. It seems to be more noticeable with V4. I can see why they create the textures this way: it gives a smoother transition between the breast and nipple textures. The harsher transition is a heck of a lot easier to fix, though. "Size of a truck tire" .. LOL That made my day!

That's perfectly natural. If you do an internet search you will see that large breasts have a larger areola... and quite often stretch marks too :)
