Hi everyone, hope someone can help. I've just installed P7, and keep gettting the same error when trying to import P7 files into Daz Studio. When trying to import any P7 scene I get the error message "Error occurred while importing the file. See the log file for details". When clicking "OK", I get a box saying "Reading Pz3 file", then nothing.......the programme just hangs up completely, so I can't even check the log file referred to. I've removed and reinstalled the latest version of Daz Studio, so it's recognised the P7 intallation and directories, but the same thing happens.
Anyone got any ideas?

Try unchecking "Use external binary morph targets" in the Poser preferences and resave your PZ3.
Make sure that D|S knows about all the external Runtimes you are using.

You'll need to say more about what's in your scene.
Is this happening with all PZ3s saved from P7 ?
Can you load the same scene saved from a previous version of Poser ?

I've tried importing a previous Poser 6 file into P7 and saving it, but no luck. I even tried a scene consisiting of just a single primitive sphere prop...same result...just crashes, real quick, it's like it doesn't even read the file. Reported it to Daz Tech Support.
