Attached Link: Full sized (1080P sized)
I usually go in spurts over the last five years or so with poser and play with it a few weeks... forget about it... start over with the new version. I just never get GOOD at it.Well... a couple things fell in place (Mac with a good monitor, Poser 7) and I am inspired all over again!!! Unfortunately, I found Katie G2 (Or what ever she is called) and got so into it that I have been playing for almost 18 hours straight...
Couple questions:
How old is she "supposed" to be? I think she sometimes looks early teens and sometimes looks 8. Esp. if she is in the scene with ANYONE she looks very elfin and small. I want her to be 14 to do the story I am trying to make... Any suggestions?
Does ANYONE else even use her? I can't find hair or textures or ANYTHING for her really.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING? Poser 7 runtime folder structures confuses me. badly. I am not sure where things are anymore... I guess I will read the manual. But other then a hires lowres texture and one pair of pants and shirt without texture to speak of there is nothing there for her! poor kid. Am I missing something?
Anyone know any characters that can match or be scaled down to her size and have textures and style that matches hers? I need to create about three female 16-20 year old characters for this thing I am messing with.
Here is my "I didn't read the instructions and dug deep deep into old Poser 4 runtimes" render.
The only retouch is a place in the hair that REALLY annoyed me. I have absolutely no hair fitting skills. Hair is Perla from lisabeth with the additional textures. (Anyone have the Katie bonus file? the link in the readme doesn't work and I haven't heard back from her.) The shirt and pants are my texture (I did get the cammo from someplace... can't remember where sadly)
The amp and guitar are from my poser 4 folder from 2001ish so no idea where they came from.
It needs tons of work and lighting etc. Just a WIP.

You are not missing anything, traditionally child and male figures have little support in comparison to female figures.
EF figures of any type (male, female, child) are also generally under-represented due to Daz3D's general dominance in the figure market.
Also, few people will go out of their way to support child figures due to the questionable issues related to some 3d art featuring children.
I wouldn't hold your breath for anything.

Considering what you had to work with I think you have done an excellent teen rocker in the making image. :thumbupboth:

thanks! trying to decide if I should pursue using Katie or bite the bullet and switch to something different. I have the original militeens but she just seems dated compared to what I did in one day with the katie model.
um. decisions.

i like your katie a lot. i think you should keep going in the vein you've started. she really has character. if what you want is clothes, why don't you either send a ticket into content paradise or post in the forums? cp_starlet and ratscloset are quite active and responsive over there; i'm sure they'll pass your request along. and it might inspire others to chime in.
if they made a couple of faerie morphs, textures and outfits for her, i think it might prime the pump for the faerie genre artists out there.

I play around with Iclone a lot and I found a way to import Kate into Iclone for a little screen test about a year ago. You can see it here: http://stevedraun.org/kik2test/kim_fs.htm
At the beginning you will see a notice to turn your sound on, don’t pay any attention there isn’t any sound. You will see that she looks very cartoonish because of the low poly counts in Iclone. I agee with you that it’s difficult to tell her age I actually have her in a business suit. If you look carefully you will see he breathing.
