I dont think the spammers can choose the sent dates tho?....I know I cant choose whatever date I want when I send off an email..it always goes with the system dates...

You can put any date you want on an email, just as you can make up who's sending it, where it came from etc. (Outlook has a "From" field you can use if you unhide it).
It's especially easy to fake header information in emails if you generate them using a script or program, as you have complete access to and control over things that most email clients handle for you.
I've had spam with a date of somewhen in 1638 (attempting to be at the top if sorting in ascending date order).

Oh wow, I had no idea about that stuff....anyways, just thought it was kinda odd as I have never seen something like this before..one or two I could understand, but all of them??...{and there are about 400 + more of them ;}
