Thie image is of the diner set uploaded to the marketplace this morning. [ ![Celeste's Diner](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/media/folder_136/display_1357398.jpg)](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1357398)

Classic American Diner and Environment figure and smart props For Poser 6 and Poser 7.

This is a scale model of a 1952 Mountain View Diner in Central Indiana.
The lighting and background simulates morning on the first day of Spring at that location.

Sixteen original meshes and unique, historically accurate texture, bump, displacement and opacity maps bring the highway crossroads to life in your artwork.  Fifteen original props included so you can customize your interiors -- add tables to the dining room, build a new bar, or expand the kitchen.  Meshes, uvs, textures, and poser files optimized for efficient rendering and animation.

The diner and terrain are modeled from real world data.  The lighting represents spring equinox, 10 am, 2007.

The environment may be used for any scenes requiring a stretch of highway:  biker rallies, car meets, races, traffic jams, light traffic, Monday monring breakfast, Wednesday Meatloaf specials, Saturday night brawling in the parking lot, etc.  The diner is suitable for any scene from 1952 to the present.

Use:
To install, simply extract the contents of CelestesDiner.zip with paths and folders into your Poser folder.

If you do the following in order you can exactly recreate the environment as shown in the product renderings.

1.  Start Poser.  Delete all the lights in your scene.  Turn off the Ground Plane and Ground Shadows.

2.  Add CelestesDinerIBL lighting to your scene.

3a.  Add the CelestesDiner figure.
3b.  Add the CDFurniture smartprop.
3c.  Add the CDParkingLot smartprop.

4.  Select the CelestesDiner figure BODY.  In the parameter dial, set YRotate to -49.

5.  Add the CDPanorama prop.

You are ready to render!  Use the included CDDinerCameras or your own, and Render with Firefly with the default automatic settings slider pushed all the way to the right (with Raytracing On, Use Displacement, Smoothing off).

Extras:
All of the doors and windows can be opened and closed with the parameter dials in CelestesDiner figure BODY.
For convenience in setting up your scene, the diner's roof can be hidden:  Select the CelestesDiner figure and in Body Parts, select CDRoof.  In the parameter dial, uncheck Visible.
To turn on the neon sign, select the CelestesDiner figure and in its Advanced Materials, set CD CDSignNeon Ambient Value to 2, Ambient Color to red (or any color you like).
If your camera is blocked by the CDPanorama, in Render Settings, check Cull Backfacing Polygons.
Materials that use overlays, like CDChromeTex and CDGlassTex can be retextured with images similarly.  Other textures simply use tiled images.

Very nice. Some really good work there. And too cheap man, far too cheap for what you get, lol.

Nice work. Particulary like the lighting. Very photo realistic.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
