Hi, I'm having problems with Poser 3  on windows xp - it was fine until i upgraded to 1Gig. Now whenever i startup P3 i get a memory error message. Now i found a patch for this some months ago and then i had pc problem and i lost everything and it wasn't on my back-up etc etc...
Does anyone know where i can find said patch? Please?

I tried searching for my original message from months and months ago but it seems to have disappeared.......

You can pick up an update at E-frontier, not sure if it's the right one though but worth a try eh?

I think as far as Poser 3 is concerned, you're stuffed... :( The early versions were never designed to work with more than 1GB total memory (i.e physical RAM + virtual memory). There's a memory updater for Poser 4, and for Pro Pack, but they never made one for P3. The 3.01 updater that's at e-front ear is just the "make it stop crashing every 5 minutes" patch, which I assume you already have - P3 was unusable without it.

is there a reason why you are using Poser3 , because if it's not important that you use Poser 3, then why not upgrade to Poser5 for Freeeeee!! sorry i don't have a link for you, but if you were to start a new thread "asking for a link to the free poser 5 NOW!!,... DAMMIT!!!" or something friendlier. Then i'm sure someone will pop in and help you out.

As far as i'm aware you get the P3, P4, and P5 figures included with P5.

I think there was a time limit for the Poser 5 offer. It was at Content Paradise. I seem to remember someone saying that one of the 3d mags (3d World, Computer Art, or Digit) had Poser 4 on the cover, but I can't back that up.

Still (heresy!), you could get Daz Studio for free at their site. Or Poser Artist (or is that still available?)
