As I ponder the age of my recent departed relative (exited this world at 97 years of age), I get the sense that a good proportion of the actively posting members here in this forum tend to be older folk, not the younger crowd.  This conclusion made judging from references made in posts, covering film, literature and other 20-Century popular culture icons.  Let's put the cut-off point as 25 years, say.  I'm definitely older than 25.

I read in a New Scientist issue some time back, that human brains don't complete growing until around age 24-25.

You know, I looked at myself naked in the mirror the other day.  I don't look much different from the way I looked at 35.  It was devastating to realize I looked that bad at 35 ;)

I read that too, about the brain still developing until 25. oO Awhile back there was a poll on ages at DAZ I think. I was very shocked. I tend to assume everyone is my age. blush There are very few users who are 30, and even less for 20. oO bB

I think I'm 55... it's getting hard to remember.

33 - and, I still get carded (ID) for cigs and such, and been told that I look 18 or 19.  Somehow I don't feel old at all.  Who knows, I feel younger but more mature.

I'm 38 at the moment but with my grey hair I look older, I still feel young though.

I'm 45, which you can tell from the gray hair, but not by the way I behave most of the time.

I always feel this forum is full of young people

passed 25 nearly a quarter-century ago..;) 50 this coming November...sigh..;) Can't tell except for the gray in the beard (hereditary, I got it from my children..;)

FWIW I'm chronologically 39 but definitely mentally 22 and sticking there for lots of good reasons

Oh, I didn't know we were actually posting age here..LOL! I'll be 46 in May but I am always being confused for someone is 10 years my junior but at times my brains still says it's 22. I was reading in one of the known medical journals that todays 40's and 50's are yesterdays 20's and 30's. Because of the advances in medicine, quality of life, health education and fitness the days of hitting 40 and you're life being half over are gone. Pretty cool huh??
