An interesting thing happened yesterday in the gallery to me. I ran into an image, where the "artist" took another person's work and manipulated it in photoshop. He credited the original photographer.
The comment I wrote was something like this:
"I hate to be a party- pooper - but does the original author know about this? Do you have his permission?
I have no problem, someone taking my image, to show me something. But I certainly would not allow my image being taken, manipulated and posted somewhere else by someone else."
That was my comment - and guess what? When I checked today if there was any response - this comment was gone. Now - how can THAT be? Correct me if I'm wrong - but I believe, that only Renderosity can censor a comment. And that begs the question, why would they do that?
Are they actively supporting an action, that to say the least is lame?
Anyone?
