My wife collects dolls..so I put up shelves. The best dolls are stored waiting for the mahogany doll cabinet I have been building for 5 years.  I don't collect hats but have a collection..gift shops in places travelled have little I want so it is a hat.  We cleaned out a hall closet and discovered the hat collection.

Got a collection? Designed or accidental like my hats?  Simon wants to see!

Super idea for a Simon. I have several collections myself, but the thing that first comes to mind is my son's Thomas the Train collection. Thanks to the grandparents and some savy eBay shopping, it is a huge one. Something we'll save for his kids to play with. Here are shots of him playing with them over the years.

Tom! This is a very good idea for simon. I was loking forward to see all the collected treasure from friends.....! I am on holiday all my diferent collectable things at home on my main computer. Soon as I a home again I will join in. I have tiny bottles, semi-stones, perfume bottles, weapons, dragons, fabergee eggs.

Tom, I've been checking this thread since you started it, wishing I had a collection to show. :sad: Then it struck me... I do, I DO have a collection!! So I just now ran out and shot it! :tongue1:

I don't want to show my garage and storage areas!  The collection is too massive to comprehend.  That is what the wife says...she is right.  Yours looks pretty neat.

Is that an excercise machine in the middle or something else?

LOL, Tom if I remember correctly it was an excercise machine but it's soon to be my new hat rack.
