How do I get to see the File extentions? I know I need to do it in Windows XP, but I don't know where to begin. Can anyone help?

yeah, a lot of times by default the OS is set to hide "known" extensions.
un-check the box like Victora says and you'll be all set.

The Internet Explorer doesn't have 'Folder options' under 'tools'
retrocity posted Tue, 23 January 2007 at 8:58 PM
no, it's the "windows" explorer.
if you open any folder or directory on your computer you should see the Folder Option in the Tools menu, then just follow what Victoria said

Not Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer. Double Click on My Computer and then follow the instructions.
