A complete character for use with the Viet Cong products. The package includes a full realistic skin texture, INJ and REM files for the morphs, and MAT files for applying the textures. It requires the DAZ Michael 3 with Head and Body Morphs.

Is that the circular straw hat ? ..... I don't think I've ever seen one of those in Poserdom (of course I could be wrong).

Just as a character, this looks good. I could use him in a lot of places, nothing in particular to do with the Vietnam Wars. I almost hesitate to ask, but if Panko does a VC set for V3, or maybe SP3, can somebody do a US Army outfit for M3?

> Quote - Lol, don't worry about the gear and stuff to go with the characters, that's all done, but unfortunately we can't give everything away for free. :(@ helgard.
Please dont take this the wrong way! I think VP stuff is some of the best around..trouble is I still cant afford your stuff.
Luis Luque over at 3D most has the best darn prices around. I love his stuff...If all poser artists could afford to sell at those rates..I'm sure more people would buy.
As I said your stuff Is Brilliant so it aint a knock. I just wish you could have more offers ...maybe a monthly "cheapo" or something?

Philgreg,
I would like nothing more than to win the lotterry, and do this for fun and give it all away for free. Honestly, I would. But unfortunately I make my living doing this, and if it doesn't sell, I don't eat, lol.
But saying that, I have followed a strict rule since I became a merchant, for every commercial product I make, I will release a free item. I have a few I am working on, and they should make up for me having to make a living. :)

It seems like you may be right. I didn't pick this up when testing because whenever it loaded the Vicky hats it was finding the textures from the Mike hats. I will get this fixed as soon as possible.

Cool, thanks. Otherwise, great set! I wish though there were morphs for the shirt and pants, like open and close.
Helgard posted Mon, 29 January 2007 at 10:04 PM
Lol, so do I, but it is the first set of clothes I have made, so I am still learning, the next ones will definitely have open and close morphs.
We have found the problem with the hat textures, and and soon as we can wake John up in America we will have it fixed. Just give us a few hours.

For a first set, it was pretty darn good. What I really liked were the sandals. I've been looking everywhere for a pair that could pass off as those "college" sandals ubiquitous on todays campuses.

Forgot to say, I love the cig packets and poses (even though I am a total non smoker being medical) they just add so much realism to the scene. If you haven't got the set yet I should tell you the cigs even burn down whilst smoking and can pop out of the packet. Love esther PS yes, I know, that realistically the US guy should be in some hole in the ground (rather than that flash accomodation) but I haven't got my vue 6 to play nice with poser 7 yet.
