Hi,
I got the FBX Exporter for DazStudio 1.3 and I can't make it work the way I want it. First of all it enlarges the FBXs file to enormous sizes and the import of these files into Maya sometimes takes 1 hour or more, depending on whether I included texture files or not. It even makes Maya crash sometimes. In Motionbuilder the import works just fine, but Maya is the application where I need the character to be in the end.
However my main problem is that I can't export morphed V3 characters. For example I purchased the character set "Ioli" from renderosity and applied it to the V3 base character inside DazStudio via Body and Head INJ files.
In the FBX export options it even asks me if I want to include "Active Morphs". I enable the option and all I get when I open the FBX file inside Motionbuilder or Maya is the V3 base character with Ioli's textures on it. No Head or Body Morphs included :-(
Did you guys get the Exporter working properly?
Thanks a lot for any help! This problem is pretty crucial for my project :-(

I don't own FBX Exporter, but maybe you need to update Daz|Studio to the latest version, which is DAZ|Studio 1.4.16.
