Yes. I see what you mean. Great picture though.
I'm sure someone here will be able to quickly help you with this - sorry, I can't.
You'll need to tell or show your settings though. That'll be the first thing they ask.

There are a lot of lighting tuts out there.
Lightsetting is the most important part. So one  should spend some time to learn a few things about illumination and how to do it with Poser.

Here's the settings

The light was basic.

There's a click in C4D "absolute bias" thay will kill shadows.

Don't ask me why it's turned on in default.

Thought maybe there was a setting I had set wrong in Poser 5 or something.

I'll check out the light tutorials

Thanks

I think it's in the light settings. Probably increasing your map size on your main light...(increases time, though) For render settings, Min Shading rate can come down to 1.00 or even 0.50 (Lower for hair) Increases time, though Ray Trace bounces can come down too (I don't see any reflection). Set to 0 or 1.00 will save you time. Maybe you can raise bucket to 64 (depends on your memory)this can cause a freeze in P5 if set too high.

production render, drop shading rate to 0.1 or 0.2 zoom in on the shadowcams, or scale them to fit the area of interest. advanced topic, search forum here for threads on shadowcams.
