You effectivly make a movie of a single frame with the render settings set as the Preview Window.
Hope this helps.

As an alternative you can use the seams guide as texture and render as usual.

I'm not 100% certain (can't check right now) but could you not also do this using "Preview" in normal (single-frame) render settings?

If you want anything wireframed, just make a "copy to clipboard" (Main Menu -> Edit -> Copy Picture).
The content of your preview window is copied to the clipboard and can be pasted in your prefered paint program.

Yes, it doesn't need to be rendered as a single frame movie clip, you just select the Preview renderer from the render settings, and check antialiasing there. Document render size is then controlled via the usual dialogue.
