so you are ready to buy vista so your computer can use all that memory. well vista home premium is only 32 bit, not 64 bit. you must order from Microsoft for $10 for the 64 bit version and wait til they ship. a bummer!!! or buy the the top of line package for $500 and you will have 64 bit
Western Digital harddrives is not offering upgraded drivers for vista so my 275 gigs will be worthless until they get off they rear and provide support

I won't be bothering with Vista until I get a new 'puter which won't be for a coupla years yet!
Hopefully by then this security protection thing that everyone is bitching about will be sorted out!!

Get a MAC ..like i did ...vista is a bad copy of the MAC os anyway :}

mac is switching to intel processors so it will be a "windows" before you know it.some can run both now.I had a cube mac before and traded it off for a laptop(windows)

I have been hearing very bad things about Vista..had a lady tell me today a friend of hers just received her new computer and couldnt get online with it because Vista required an adapter which it dont have..she had to send it back. I have also heard that it wont load poser, daz studio, and with vue..it is very slow, taking 36 hours to render a simple flower! I am staying clear of Vista if at all possible!
