I have rearched many sites and still cannot find these lace materials which I know I've seen somewhere. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.

It might help to know what type of lace material you're looking for.....
Were they textures for a particular item?
Tileable lace textures?
Procedural lace materials?
I tried looking for just "lace" and it could be any number of things.

I think I know what site you are asking about, but I don't have access to any of my bookmarks just yet.

However, it seems that I remember reading a year or so ago in the Copyright Forum here that some lace patterns are actually copyrighted.

I also seem to remember there being a link to a site that has old lace patterns that are not copyrighted any longer and I think some of the merchants here use those.

Anyway, ask in the copyright forum too. Maybe someone there will have a better memory than I do and will be able to provide you with a link to such a site.

Lots of merchants here have lace material, Ravynsworld has a nice set called "Y Genethod" you might want to check out!
