I've been trying to recall - Is there a Python script that will load the native P7 assets that have PMD files, and re-save them with the morphs in the CR2 in one operation - hopefully without changing the original thumbnails? (I've turned off PMD use in preferences already)
Or a utility that will find and move the OBJ files that litter the P7 library folders into Geometries where they belong, and re-write the paths in the library files to reflect the corrected locations? I know there's several that will correct the path (I probably have them all), but I don't know of any that'll physically move the OBJs to where they belong first.
Anyone know of such?
Thanks
Jerry

I'd take that one in a flash if someone has it. > Quote -

It's probably easiest just to use a file manager outside of Poser to locate the obj's and move them manually. You'd need to create new directories for them anyway, so I don't see any difference between doing it yourself in Python inside Poser and doing it yourself outside Poser using a fire manager that has more flexibility. The run Correct Reference or whatever tool inside or outside of Poser to correct the internal references.
Since I received P7 I've been taking the opportunity to completely overhaul my runtimes, basically installing everything new, organizing it, making sure it has the correct references and a logical structure, (and getting rid of those unnecessary ! and !! and ++!!) and then moving it into use. I've been on this project for a month now and I still have the majority of my V3 stuff to reinstall.
What's taking so long is the internal reorganization, especially moving geometry, injection and texture files into a more organized and logical structure. All the injection files, for instance, go into a single folder with the needed subfolders instead of being scattered all over the runtime in whatever folder name the creator decided on.
Doing it outside of Poser with the specialized file management tools that I have is brutal enough.
