Hi all,
I have a problem with PoserPro as well as P5 (yes, I'm old-fashioned).
Loading M3 into P5, morphing, trying to export as an .obj... just brings up a dialogue to export it as .3ds... (trying to export it as a .3ds actually brings up the same result). even if I export as a .3ds (which I could convert to an .obj with a different software...), it seems to be exported in a wrong way, meaning only the body seems to be exported and some vertices of the head (and, yes, I've checked the full figure to be exported).
No problem, I thought - why not load it into my trustworthy PoserPro and then try and export it?
Did that, and all that is exported is a 0kb .obj file...

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong with my installation? It once worked very well...

Have you tried reinstalling? It's all I can think of, although it seems strange that both versions would be affected.

It might have to do with M3 itself - I seem to remember the original version had some problems.
You could redownload M3 and upgrade it to SR1, that fixed the problems I read about.

You can also try exporting Posette as .OBJ. If that works fine, it's probably M3 at fault. If that also doesn't work, then it's Poser itself, you'll probably have to reinstall.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

No, it's not about M3. I can't even export a simple sphere; same issues in both versions... :(
I've also tried restoring the installation from a hard disk backup, but that doesn't solve the problem either.
Dammit! Where did I put my installation CDs when I moved...?
