THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Some may or may not remember me :)

Just wanted to say I've been lurking, still reading the forums but haven't done any serious work for a couple years. I've also moved on to the dark side :)

Bought Vue6 Infinite and I have to say even though it costs 5-6 times what Bryce does it's fantastic! Everything I ever wanted in a package (except particles & physics) for a reasonable price.

Bryce will always be my first love and introduction into the 3D world and is an amazing program but was missing the features of what I really wanted. I'll still be checking in here from time to time, especially as I learn a whole new system.

It's a long time since I last saw you here, I can understand the move to vue, it's a fantastic package - the ecosystem is awesome. I'm mainly using Blender, but bryce is also still a first love for me too, the bryce forum here still feels like 'home'.

Art is art, Bryce got us here, so whatever side roads we take can only make us better artists.

Good to hear from you.

Al!  Was ist lost, homefry?  gotta say I missed ya and your metaball work. :c)  Seems that a lot of old-timers have been poking their nose back as of late.  I suppose we can forgive you for going to the dark side.... maybe not cardinal Bryster, but who knows?  Miracles happen.  ;c)

I don't know you or your work but I use Bryce 5.5 and 6 and recently purchesed Vue6. BUT, I still and will always do Bryce and I very much look forward to it's next version, 6.1. And by Version 7 should have some of those features that Vue now has. Just because you use Vue doesn't mean that you don't do Bryce also, Actually it's fun to do both or my case all 3, Terragen, Bryce and Vue and I am learning Poser7 also and my first Poser happens to be in Bryce that I will post a little later next week. So Come On and do some more Bryce-ing and we promise to give it a Vue or 2!!!!!! ; ^ D
