Bought it but now I have to open up Poser to get all those Material settings converted over to something that DAZ Studio can use. I don't worry about the nodes that you may have attached to bring out more detail, I can do that with Poseworks pwSurface plugin and different bump settings!!

Been using it almost exclusively since my wondering in through the 3D door over 2 years ago. Just never cared for Poser's interface. I like what it can do but that interface is a just scary to me and a bit on the antiquated for my taste. I think at least half the Poser folks that bought Poser 7 were all hoping that we either had more interface options or a newly designed one with a switch to default back to the older interface. Didn't happen so DAZ Studio is still very much my stable, easy to use 3D "poser" app! Just wish they had ways to make use of Material files and a few more nodes added to the Surface tab like tiling textures and some math functions then I wouldn't feel like I was missing out! Oh well, time will tell. 1.5 is due out soon, have my fingers crossed and all that.....

LOL when i first started with poser i was disturbed, this was version 4, i shut it off for few months before opening it again, then i started to use it. When studio were released it was the same thing as with poser, but now the problem was the interface as been get used to posers for so many years. Best way to deal is always open mind and courage, i am still gathering mine for studio :)
