Does Poser 7 use a different scale factor? Different versions of Poser have had different scales. That is, the real-world distances represented by the Poser Native Unit--the numbers recorded in an OBJ file--have varied. Everyone accepted that Poser used 96 inches, or 8 feet, which made such figures as the Millenium Woman tall, but not incredibly so. Then the scale shifted. It was officially set at just over 103 inches for Poser 6, which adds several inches to the height of all existing figures. And all props should be smaller. Or, if they're scaled on an assumption of sensible figure height, they should be the same size as before. But I've noticed, with one or two items made for Poser 7, that they're too big, compared to other Poser items; the scaling comes out at somewhere around 90 inches. Trouble is, at least one case is a guy who does make stuff over-sized, on the assumption that the standard figures are too tall. Anyway, has the figure been changed again for P7?
