I have spent a lot of time trying to contact contact paradise and e-frontier. It has been very frustrating and  hope someone  can help me. Using the contact system on contact paradise does not work!!

My question is so simple that I am sure I could get an answer in less than a minute if they would reveal their phone number. My efforts to do this by e-mail have just wasted my time and tried my patience.

I want to order the boxed upgrade for poser 7 IF it includes the printed manual. Also, it says it does not ship until january. But it is now february and almost march!!! What is going on?

I would like to buy through content paradise so that I can get the passport paradise models. Is there some other way to accomplish this?

Can anyone give me a phone number so that I can get answers to my questions?

There is a manual in the P7 box.

The free 6 month Content Paradise passport membership was only available to those who ordered the Poser 7 SE pre release last year. The pevious Content Paradise freebie models are currently only available to passport members and buying Poser 7 at Content Paradise does not give you automatically a passport membership, you have to buy it seperately now.

Hi!

Actually, the Passport is available in the Poser 7 regular edition too.  Only the SE content was special to that edition.  And yes, the manual does come in the box.

Dave-so: still trying to get that number at Fortress CP to answer. But thanks.

Puntomaus: I need to know if there is a printed manual in the UPGRADE box from Fortress CP. And your comment about only those who ordered last year throws me into worse confusion. Are you sure? The webpage says

**Poser 7 Now Available!
Order Now and get the 6 Month Passport FREE!

** **$129 for previous users

Starlet: Do you know if the Passport is available in the UPGRADE bought at Fortress CP only, or from e-frontier directly.

Major question is Fortress CP shipping boxed upgrades now?

Another major question is still how does one get past the moats and walls given that they seem to have pulled up the drawbridge? What kind of service is this. It comes across badly.**

Boxed product is shipping for all versions now.

Upgrades and full versions are exactly the same, and both have the manual, just a different sticker on the bottom.  Program, Passport & coupon available in all versions, PDF manual in the ESD version instead.

Thanks Starlet. but not so easy!!

Following the information you provided I just tried to buy on-line through Fortress CP, again so that I could be sure to get the free months of Passport. . But it would only let me buy the e version. So I backed out.

Seems that I still would need a way across trhe moat to llocate any humans in the castle.

Hi, it's really weird and i really doubt Content Paradise's biz ethics. I'd just bought the clothing designer(frm Phil C - a wonderful product) frm Content Paradise. After charging my credit card, i was supposed to download online but what i'd encountered is an Error page and had problems in downloading. however on their website, it'd indicted that i'd surpassed my 3times download already..which is really weird as i'd not even got anything then.

**rl2000 that is really rotten!!

I think decent customer servicereally  is an ethical issue. There is an issue of trust. When someone goes out and sells they are asking you to trust them. If you cannot trust them to back up their advertising it is false advertising, Of course it is hard to prove if it is  intentional and thus a crime, but there is nevertheless an ethical obligation and false advertising due to sloppiness implies somesort of  breach of trust and is an ethical matter.

thanks PJbear. i am a little disappointed and you know what? I'd emailed them advising the situation and also cc a copy to PhilC. i'd immediately got a reply frm PhilC9who is so wonderfully rpofessional) and till now, no replies frm content Paradise

Interesting .... quote from the newsletter that announced reason #1 to pre order Poser 7 - the free 6 month passport membership was listed under only available for those who preorder Poser 7:

Announcing Poser 7 Special Edition
Only Available for Those Who Preorder Poser 7!

Special Offer

For a limited time, when you preorder Poser 7, you will receive Poser 7 Special Edition, which will include:

ya but, it says the exclusive content, which is high stakes, will not be available. the rest is.

I will say, again, that CP has the worst customer service of any Poser related store on the net. At least Starlet showed up here, though, but it is extremely difficult to get an answer out of them when you need it most. And if you raise a stink on their website forum, more than likely you're going to get banned.

It's a terrible way to run a business. Some suggestions for eFrontier and CP:
Give us a phone number that we can call and get LIVE help...right away.
Put someone in there that actually answers the emails.
When someone raises an issue in the CP forums, which are only for Passport members, btw, answer the question without getting all smartass and defensive.
