Here is a mostly raw IR photo from my recent IR expidition to the Morikami Gardens. I figured I'd let you guys play around with it to see kind of what I go through when trying to wrangle a decent image from my files. I did have to adjust the level because I didn't want to show a totally flat looking image, but otherwise it is pretty much straight from the camera, just reduced in size. My normal technique consists of Auto Levels, then selecting in an oval and feathering and adjusting the levels to get rid of the bright central hot spot, then inverting and making the borders of the image a bit lighter. I am curious to see how you all handle this type of image. ~Kort

Neat fiery effect. Just doing a simple auto level will improve the image quality as well.

Looks like my DITI is causing a 60's flashback for everyone, lol! Nice manips you guys. :) Here is a direction I might have taken it for my gallery.
