Well, I'm not in the UK, so I don't know about the company...
They do seem to have quite a few brick and mortar stores, so that's a good sign..
Danob can probably give you a better answer because he lives there....

Prices in the UK are at leat 35% more expensive than the US But that lens is expensive anywhere in the world

wow - never knew such a monster existed!! shame it isnt at f/2 or something crazy like that - it would probably triple the price tag i suppose, is it actually possible?
