Am I a happy bunny or what! after giving it up as a bad job and just using it for the backgrounds in photoshop, I've found the trick to transparancy mapping in Vue 2 :) I didn't realise that you have to invert the transparancy map as well as flip it over - DOH! Here's a quickie that I just did with a little photoshop to brighten up the colours a bit. (It's the standard p4 horse with the wonderful black map from Daz and the chargers mane refitted to him.)
