As I mentioned earlier, couple of my friends and I are making a few pieces of clothes for GND.
Below are couple items we already modeled, and are converting into conforming clothes, and will release as freebies... (UV Mapped and textured)
Also, if you want something specific for GND... let me/us know here.
Rather then guessing what to make, we thought we'd take couple of requests of similar modeling complexity.
Shoes, shirts, dress, pants, accessories, props... Anything really for GND.
Thankee's

Those are both really nice, I'll be looking forward to both! You might consider offering the dress as a prop also (dynamic) - the first combo item I don't suppose would work all that well as dynamic due to the super-thin strings but the dress ought to work very well. Very nice work!
Conniekat8 posted Mon, 12 March 2007 at 10:12 PM
Thanks a bunch PJ for taking a look! :)
Dress might work as a dynamic, we'd have to remove the inner (thickness faces for that)... should be easy enough to make an OBJ fit for a dynamic dress.
I'm puzzled, I thought after last weeks response of some people wanting more GND clothes there'd be little more commentary on these. Are they that bad? :scared:
 Kitty slinks away and hides under the bed feeling discouraged... I don't think people liked these very much :( but not sure why??? Do I smell???... checks armpits...
Maybe the'll look better fully textured...???
Comments, anyone?

Actually I;d make the first piece a hybrid with the collars (strings etc.) as confomers and the rest as dynamic. Maybe the same for the second dress as well, altho it's dhort enough a normal confomer should work.
Connie, are the pants part of your clothing in the first teddy, or are they the ones in Blackhearted's lingerie set? Just asking becasue his also have the strings in the back like that and I'd like to know if I need those when your set comes out.
Incredible work!

Shouldn't worry about it, it's only timing. Monday afternoon/night in US Prime Time, that's all. Both items are very cleanly designed and particularly the nightie/panty combo, people are going to gobble that up as soon as you actually release it in freebies.

Hi Trav :)
It's all original modelling work couple of my poser addict friends and myself. The only work from other people we used was a zeroed out OBJ of GND to fit the clothes to (not shown here).
We got inspired after thumbing through victoria's secret catalogs. ...well, the guys did :)
GND undies... now that you mentioned them, I went to search through... I'll be darn, it's really close to the one GND already has... Sorry, unintentional... but thanks for pointing that out, we may have to change them some so they don't look like a knockoff.
We have couple more dresses and a new pair of jeans shorts in the works, and a pair of good old classic infantry combat boots in the pipeline.
Still taking requests for more modeling :)
Maybe a top like this:

Hum, if you're going to make a pair of Daisy Dukes anyway why not go all the way and make the whole out fit. Here's a pic of the latest Daisy, from Yahoo for inspiration.

@Trav: Now THAT would be a HOT outfit for Irina!!! Actually both would look nice in that, since they both have the correct body shape in the default setting...at least to my eyes they do. haha It would also be easy enough to tweak and turn the Sapphire Fox hair to look like that as well.
The dress is lovely and the nightie is very sexy. Nice work.
When it comes to playing in Poser, I'm a SciFi Mythology freak...Not the bare boob sword swinger, but, the greek goddess look and the skin tight leathers. I wish someone would have done a catsuit for the series, they could have really set a lot in motion for both females in the way of stuff other then Laura Croft stuff...there's only so much you can do with the outfits that came with, beautiful as they are, but, still limited.
Connie, you have a fan waiting in the wings to grab what you create with many thanks for trying to bring life back to an unrealized Poser beauty.

oooh, thank you guys!!!
We have jeans shorts in the works. One of my dear friends has done the basic shaping already, It's in my lap now to do the detailing and UV Mapping on the jeans...
Here's a preview (please see next post)

And.... in our heads this outfit is starting to turn into a 'toolbelt pinup' ... Sort of a modernized version of Rosie the Riveter.
Got the belt and the toolbelt in progress too. It will fit over the jeans shorts. Have a few tools hanging off of it.... and who knows what else... Some high heeled shoes perhaps, for those not into the boots ;)
Trav, the shirt on the outfit that you posted is perfect for what we had in mind :) Definately something we'll make!
Stevie, I'll definately put the catsuit on the list :) Well, I mean, run it by the guys, and see what they're envisioning. I think it will be an easy sell. To be sure we're on the same page, could you perhaps post a link or a picture of a look you have in mind? Second set of boots guys are all excited is a Sci FI boot... it might be a nice fit with a catsuit. ;)
I think as soon as we get everyting working on GND, we'll add Irina fitting Morphs too.
Thanks for the interest and responses guys :)
Anything else?

Hi Tiari :)
Blackhearted and Rio's character, Girl Next Door (GND)
In my humble opinion one of the nicest contemporary, realistic looking V3 body morphs...
http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=39673
It has a bit of a following, I gather, and it's own category in rendo marketplace.
http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?TopID=11219.87798.
Girl Next door looking character for Stephanie base is called Irina.
http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=30687
My male modelling/rendering/poser addict counterparts seem to have a bit of a crush on this character (seems like that to me), so they're easily motivated to make outfits for her. It's rather cute ;) giggles
Hope that helps :)

Sorry I got here late. This is looking great!
Especially like those boots. It would be cool to see a whole military/camping ensemble... like something GND might wear if spending a week in the woods. Sports bra? Tank top? Cargo shorts? Either a windbreaker/overshirt or a hiking vest?
Sorry, just free associating. :-P

Heya Connie,
Here's the closest along the idea I was thinking of...
Something sleek and shiney, or could be altered to look like leather, and another thought would be to be able to mask the arms where it would be sleeveless. It would work with just about any kind of shoe or boot. Plus you could add one of the many trenchcoats out there to have a wild Matrix look going on.
HAWK999 posted Wed, 14 March 2007 at 1:48 PM
Those pieces look great Are you modeling in Modo?
Conniekat8 posted Wed, 14 March 2007 at 2:30 PM
Thanks Hawk :)
We're actually modeling in Hexagon 2.1
Stevie, one of the guys I talked to yesterday about the catsuit was asking me why not use V3 catsuit?
I haven't used the catsuit all that much myself, so I couldn't even venture a guess.
That also raised a question in my mind... Is it twieaking and fitting the V3 catsuit to a particular character that is the biggest turnoff?

Though some will attack me for being lazy, yeah, that's the biggest thing is the tweaking...You get the body set up, you add the cat suit and spend the next hour or so tweaking to hide all the poke throughs, and no matter how you scale it, it just doesn't fit right when all is said and done, unless you use the default body. I haven't used the ultimate catsuit in a while, and my skills have increased, so I'll give it another go and see if the headaches are minimal this go around.
With the catsuit for GND and/or Irina, I was thinking of a suit that would be already preset to their body shape for a conforming outfit, but, nothing as intricate as the million zone ultimate catsuit. The armless variation would just look cool with a pair of fingerless gloves. LOL!

Not to take anything away from you Connie but isn;t this "Bootie" basically a Catsuit, and it has a morph to fit GND 2.0. Just wanted to point out the fact that there is a catsuit type clothing available...mike
Conniekat8 posted Wed, 14 March 2007 at 3:35 PM
Oh, the bootie looks cool. No worries, you're not taking anything away, we haven't tackled the bodysuit yet. Sometimes finding things for a character can be mindboggling!
Stevie, I hear ya on the tweaking. It's the thing I like to do the least. I'd rather do something of my own sfrom scratch, then spend hours of tweaking... ;) Which paradoxically, on could say, when you model something you're still doing a lot of tweaking... Different type of motivation ;)

Those boots are very fine - at least some practical boots for GND - and they would look vry sexay in combination with the top and the shorts - uhmmm, how about some thick woolen socks to go with the boots? To avoid pokethroughs a pair of "legwarmers" would do, too.
I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!
And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!
