This was posted on a list for people who write grant proposals.
Because they also get stuck, they were posting solutions, and one was
a game to play to get the brain in a writing mode. I don't know if
this is considered a motivator or not, but I share it for what it is
worth.

Well, I don't smoke, but I hope Flo of Diner Dash fame doesn't have a fourth episode, because I've spent too much time building her restaurants!
