I dunno, but she appears worried we won't be able to guess who she is.

Keep trying boys, you're not even close! here's a hint: Her texture is the BeachBaby skin by SyydColm. ;=)

It's not Apollo, is it?
;)
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!

My guess is Apollo's female morph, LOL!
jonthecelt posted Tue, 20 March 2007 at 2:17 AM
No, it's not Apollo... totally wrong face shape for that, and the swell of the breasts is too believable (one of "Apollina's" failings at the moment). But it has to be a free figure, since that's all dp uses...
Now, you mentioned your remapping project recently, so I'm going to go with that... it was Posette you were remapping for V3 textures, wasn't it?

Dick Van Dyke remapped to take Alan Alda's textures? Sweet!

From the ugly elbow joints & short forearms ....I'd say you put Posette's head on Jessie.

OK, you'll find the answer at this link. Please feel free to make comments and criticisms. I've worked very hard at this, and would truly like to have your opinion. David P. Hoadleydrifterlee posted Tue, 20 March 2007 at 10:41 AM
She's cute, but I have a problem with her joints - mostly elbows. That could be smoothed in postwork. If she takes V3 textures there are tons of really nice ones here in freestuff especially by Mari_e17.

Yes, the elbows are slightly problematic, but even V3 has her problems (shoulders, if I'm not mistakeen). I believe that with my new mapping and texturing, that the elbows are a lttle less problematic than they used to be. But only Beta testing will tell. I've sent you a copy of the mesh, so you can see for yourself.

Posette of course... with V3's skin?
Looks great but should you get He Who Must Not Be Named At Rederosity to give you some help with the eyebrows? He has a great morph at PosetteForever that does not distort the mapping I think.

I'm as welcome at Posetteforever as Lord Voldemorts is at Hogwarts, so I'll have to ask my friend Ironrodent to take a look there for me.

I spent over 10 hours yesterday, trying to fix the bloody, pesky, eyebrows, and some distortion on the upper lip. Finally, in desperation, I got a brainstorm, and decided that I'd try to borrow Pitklad's NEAena Posette. True, NEA is mapped to the V2 standard, but I suddenly had an idea of how I could use her head as a template, for mapping the eyebrows. I loaded NEA into UV Mapper, and selected the Skinhead material. I then saved a template of this as a bmp picture.
I then opened the DAZ UTC application and converted the V2 NEA head template to a V3 head template. This I then loaded into UV Mapper and used it as a guide for getting a smoother texture mapping of PosetteV3’s eyebrows. I then assigned the eyebrow’s material to the Skinhead zone, and thus eliminated the eyebrows as a separated independent material zone.
I then downloaded an eyebrow morph from: http://cresswells.com/cw/index.html, that was suggested to me by Antonio Cabñas, who’s been good enough to do some beta testing for me. This morph seemed to flatten the brows better than my previous ones, and what with the better blending of the brows with the forehead that I now had, I decided to make it permanent, so I exported the figure, with the morph set to 1.200, as a wavefront object.
Aside from that, I’ve remapped Posette’s fingernails and
toenails, and made partial progress on the mapping of the right hand. More will follow.
Yours truly,

Cool Dave. I had to put her aside because I promised a mechant I would test their stuff. I will get back to her tomorrow after the Vet gives my horse his spring shots.

Nice work as long as thier an option to get rid off those bloody eye lashes, trying do a horror scene with a severed head, when export as object bloody lashes come back thick and orrid.
Ithink their is 1 character may be able get rid lashes, but i wish efrontier and daz redo the meshes so ya can delete body parts under clothes.
So you can do bigger renders as thier will be less of a mesh hogging memory, and for god's sake dont do any bloody phone prop's for her, as get a woman on the phone ya never get them off.
Nice work though.

**Thank you for your encouragement, my drive is at a low ebb at the moment, and your post is a real shot in the arm. **
**I forgot to mention, but Snow Sultan's CuteBelly abdomen MT is now also a permanant part of the mesh. I've always liked that morph, and I decided to install it permanantly on the figure. ;=)
