I think it's pretty sad that with the huge membership that Renderosity has there have only been 76 votes for Artist of the Month and only 2 comments.  Maybe there's a reason people don't vote, I don't know, I just find it sad. :sad:

It may have nothing to do with this at all. But by judging by some of the threads about the galleries, clicks and the buddies system this may have something to do with it. Then again it may just be pure, human laziness too..LOL!

Perhaps one reason is that Renderosity is not the center of the world for a lot of people. There are so many Poser sites - each with a gallery and most ask you to vote for something.

By the way: If you didn't see ALL pictures in the gallery, voting for someone is not fair!

I thought they disabled AOM voting after it was exposed as a fraudulent popularity contest. I did vote during the legume incident, but never since then. what's the point of voting when the guy with the most pals wins? during those days, vote whores would even come into forums and the poser newsgroup, begging for votes, not because their images were any good, but just to play the system.

That's great news!!!! I hope it dies out completely and that R'dosity finally completely get's rid of all the polularity contests, as has been requested by so many people.

• Sorry kiddies, but I feel the same way. Votes don't mean squat anymore and sad to say, it's a real shame, but it's definitely a part of reality here now.

Ahh that is probably why i never see it, don't come in via the front page. I have the forums bookmarked, or the marketpace by-passing all the rubblish on the what's new page LOL
