So what do I mean by this?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photojournalism

Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story. It is now usually understood to refer only to still images, and in some cases to video used in broadcast journalism. Photojournalism is distinguished from other close branches of photography (such as documentary photography, street photography or celebrity photography) by the qualities of:

So what we are looking for is  a photo that tells a story..

Was there a news story that you happened to have your camera for?

You could also make up something !!!

It could also be a picture of your dog...with a silly story you made up..

or a serious social or political commentary

Keep it short..just a few lines..

If it's an actual news story..please share a link with us..

Usually we are concerned with Photographic Art..For this month, we get to be reporters..

A few weeks ago, There was a terrible Train crash near my home.

I wondered where all the black smoke was coming from when I woke up

The authorities did a great job closing off the roads near the wreck, so I wasn't able to get very close..

But I did manage this one shot

Just one question Bruce... I make some reportage but I can make one about a profession? I make few days ago about a artisanal work  but it's not a sensational shot, it's only a reportage for to show the old profession like a shoemaker to work again without machin... And some other reportage, but only in the same way..

Seville only counts now about 70 km destined to cycling routes (inauguration this 04/19/07). In two years it is wanted to make : a **complete network with the Plan of Integration for the Bicycle sytem.**

On saturday i covered the local rugby sevens event for my student paper (so yes, this was real photojournalism)... here is one from the final... it is from a kick-off where (for those who dont know) one team kicks to the other to start the match, and as rugby is both a sport where the ball is played with your hands and is also a contact sport, you get lovely midair collisions like this happening a lot... legally you are not (if you are on the ground) allowed to touch the guy in the air. So this is ok, but i did see one or two people being up ended because of the opponent tackling the guy mid air - dangerous stuff.  Great game tho, rugby :)

This is my very first "pap" shot... the guy in the photo is [Rob Dewey](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Dewey) - Scotland International Rugby player and up and coming star... also Rachel's mate works with his girlfriend, so i could have probably walked up and talked to him and got the photo that way, but i was in a non-adventurous mood that afternoon, plus the whole "pap" thing was fun :)

He was there probably because his mates were playing - i dont think (even tho he is wearing the strip) he was actually playing for that team - because that would just be crazy the guy is built like a tank!
