The theme for this month is
Photo Journalism
So what do I mean by this?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photojournalism
Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story. It is now usually understood to refer only to still images, and in some cases to video used in broadcast journalism. Photojournalism is distinguished from other close branches of photography (such as documentary photography, street photography or celebrity photography) by the qualities of:
Timeliness — the images have meaning in the context of a published chronological record of events.
Objectivity — the situation implied by the images is a fair and accurate representation of the events they depict.
Narrative — the images combine with other news elements, to inform and give insight to the viewer or reader.
So what we are looking for is a photo that tells a story..
Was there a news story that you happened to have your camera for?
You could also make up something !!!
It could be as simple as a baby's first steps
It could also be a picture of your dog...with a silly story you made up..
or a serious social or political commentary
Keep it short..just a few lines..
If it's an actual news story..please share a link with us..
Usually we are concerned with Photographic Art..For this month, we get to be reporters..
Here's a few more links to check out

If you have a link about Photo journalism..please feel free to share it in this thread..

Feel free to comment and discuss the images as they are posted..
That's the whole idea of having this challenge here in the forum..
For posting images in a forum thread..

A few weeks ago, There was a terrible Train crash near my home.
I wondered where all the black smoke was coming from when I woke up
The authorities did a great job closing off the roads near the wreck, so I wasn't able to get very close..
But I did manage this one shot

Just one question Bruce... I make some reportage but I can make one about a profession? I make few days ago about a artisanal work but it's not a sensational shot, it's only a reportage for to show the old profession like a shoemaker to work again without machin... And some other reportage, but only in the same way..

Today the President unveiled his new energy program before congress. In a bold move, Bush called on all pets in America to start "doing their part" . He was quoted as saying, "It's about time they stopped freeloading off of the hard working men and women in this great nation.
