Like and SOB it is. Expecting 8-10 inches so I need to get some repairs going on the snow thrower.

Poor you . . . it snowed here yesterday almost all day and has started again this morning. Now where's that global warming button? ;)

Poor baby! I spent a good part of yesterday afternoon in the pool with the kids even though it was only 93F here.

Geez!
It snowed here on Sunday, Monday, and a bit yesterday. Today it's clear and sunny, but the wind is from the north and it's cold. I'm almost afraid to check the weather because I suspect there will be snow this week too :(

It's snowing where I am right now. Hopefully, we won't get that much. ;)
Hmm and here I was thinking we were gonna have an early Spring?

We had ours last week.....
This was the view out my back door Thursday morning.
and of course, it wasn't our first snow....but everyone forgets how to drive when the white stuff comes down...and no, those ugly awful snow covered Polaris things are not ours....they were a "gift" that came with the house when we bought it.

This could be interesting if we knew where everyone lived. Doesn't sound like Florida to me (except Indoda).

My state is very square (take that as you will.../evil grin) and has the smallest population in the nation.

Must be Alaska with all that snow?
Dajadues posted Thu, 05 April 2007 at 5:28 AM
A 'state' would not be in Alaska.
My blasted state however, just got ten inches of the white stuff overnight as well but, it will melt quickly usually doesn't stick. There are are few from the US that post here like myself. ;)

Isn't Alaska a state?
Wherever you are, I'm glad I'm not there.

If you want to have crazy weather, come to Kansas. Last week it was in the 70s. Monday we had a beautiful 81 degrees. Today, well, some parts will get rain, some will get snow and the high will be in the 40s.
Realmling posted Thu, 05 April 2007 at 9:21 AM
No Kansas for me....too flat. I may grumble about the snow....but I'd be lost without mountains. I can take about a week visiting family in IN before I start going nuts because of all the trees.
Even Alaska has more people than my home boundaries....a place of many firsts....all things being equal .... We are one of the few with a state capitol not centrally located. Our capitol is much closer to the border of another square area.

I grew up in Florida lived there most of my life with exception of the places I was stationed. But it got to0 darn crowded for me and my wife is a native New Englander so when I finished with military service we moved here. We did the opposite of most people they retire to the south we retired to the north. We live in a vary mountainous area and Canada is only a few hours away. We live in the upper north end of New Hampshire.
I love the 4 seasons and got tired of Florida's two...LOL! I had enough of 11 month summers especially after spending time in the Middle East. wink Not only that the area I grew up in exploded with people and traffic. When I was a kid to make a drive from St.Petersburg to Tampa was a breeze now it's a living hell.
