its me ..again with computer problems....
my IE and opera browser at home wont load the galleries... and also my IE at my work computer wont either........

do you think this is a general Windows thing? (winblows as my fiance says - he uses MAC)...
i'm at a loss.
i can get to other parts of this website just fine - MP, forums etc etc.....

do you have any advice?

I was having trouble getting to Bravenet. It turns out that it was something in my HOSTS file.  Might be a stretch, but maybe it's your problem too?

yes i am, but i'm going to do a system restore on my ocmputer..... its not being a good child at the moment.....

still having problems... takes forever for the galleries to load - freezes Firefox or IE whichever i'm using at the time....... looks like i'll not be posting images for a very long time here............ i just cant sort this out....... my firewalls are all off when i try to view the galleries... or upload images. i have no other problems accessing other parts of this site......
so i dont know whats going on. and this is IE6 and Firefox (latest version)...........

i'm out of solutions.........

does anyone have any advice? (with the exception of throwing my computer out the window) oh and my work computer also has this problem - and the company i work for runs it, so i've had no hand whatsoever in doing the IE security or whatever on it.........

It must be on your end, as there is an Aussie member in the Photography Forum here who doesn't seem to have the same problems...

I was coming in here to find out if it was "just me" that the Galleries are slowing WAY down again...for a few days now...I use IE 6.... I zipped right in "here" but even with "only" 2400" members on line (which is not over loaded with the great new servers - at least till now) things are just taking forever to load the main pictures...

I hope that new Gallery thing (I am not going to join-download software to see more of the same gallery images?!?) is on it's own server!

and it's not my machine...nothing changed here, am on DSL and other sites loading fine...

lyne - the problem i had with mine which i fixed.... is the css template i had put into my gallery options....
if you have one - maybe take it out and put back in the rosity one that is available on that same page?

well whatever it was there are 3000 on this am and I am FLYING around loading huge pictures! :))  oh well, I am happy now! :)  I am glad you got yours fixed too! We do enjoy our galleries!
