Can anyone help me to determine why I'm getting purple spots in my image. I have played around with the render settings for quite a while but no matter what the spots show up. The settings are global ambience with quality boost at +4. Render settings are user defined with everything checked. Turning items on or off or increasing the antialising to 100% and subrays per pixel to the max at 64 has no effect. Turning off antialising completely will remove them, but the water and almost everything else looks like crap. Any suggestions? Thanks, Daniel.

Lens glare turned on for the sun or maybe a light has a flare set on?

No lens flare or lens glare used. It's a shadow setting or something similar. When I turn off shadows it disappears. Any suggestions?

Have you tried just a quick render using the Final settings?   I would also try a test render using a different atmosphere.

Please list what version of Vue you have and if the latest patches are installed.

The image you posted is so small, i can barely see anything. Can you render a test image a bit larger, that would make it easier to spot any problems i guess.

I have done a final render with everything turned up all the way and the spots are still there. I'm using the final release of Vue 6. I'm working on another test render, I will put up a larger pic of the problem area when it's finished. please check back shortly.
