Does anybody have a tutorial on how to conform a gun to a hand as in harness manually or automatically? I've tried to conform a gun to a hand but it came out badly. It just took me too much of time trying to "harness" the hand to a gun. :(

zero figure pose (joint editor), move gun into position, make hand the parent of the gun?

there are two ways to do what Miss Nancy said, one is to parent from the parameter dials (doesn't always let you) or parent from the "figure" drop down menu at the top of poser window, select "set figure parent" from the "figure" drop-down menu (that one usually works)
Be sure to of selected the gun ( should be highlighted with red line) prior to trying to parent it, then highlight / select left or right hand (whichever you want) to parent it to that hand, you may need to adjust the gun position to get it in the hand properly.
got a bit confused when you said "harness" so i'll mention this too, if you have a cop-type holster (shoulder straped) then that would need to be parented to the chest, but if you have a gunslinger-type holster (belt type) then that would need to be parented to the hip.
Hope it helps ya.

Thank you, Miss Nancy and Vince3. I'll try that.

I have some hand poses for guns in the hand folder - some people include them in their sets so you can more easily pose the weapons - there is also this site-schlabber.org/ that has literally thousands of poses

You can also parent an item by opening up the Heirarchy Editor, locate the gun in the list and drag and drop it onto the hand you want to parent it to in the list in the editor.
It's all fun and games...

To make the gun into a conforming figure you could replace the hand of a clothing cr2 with the prop.
then..
Save this new figure to the library.
