I hear a rumour that there was a photoshop cs3 beta. is this available to regular folks, and if so, how is it working so far?

Hello Miss Nacny

Yes it was released some where back in Nov of 2006

And now they have the full versions, either upgrade or pre-order. Its faster, a lot faster and they fixed a lot of bugs in CS2 versions one of them is the .RAW editor.

If you willing to get the beta for some testing, please click this LINK you have to register first.

Thank you and regards

JOE

Also, you need to have a registered copy of Photoshop. I got the Beta back in November... they did change quite a number of things. Lou.

Have you guys noticed this flavour of CS now has an "photoshop extended" version??

they're starting to do what they did with Acrobat - making a "acrobat standard" and a "acrobat professional" versions

oh well, bigger price for the upgrade!!

Study the CS3 and CS3Extended video tutes. Also the free tutes at Linda,

Some really great upgrades to Photoshop.

bw, thx fr the link. brown has a fair tutorial on masks. he prefaces it with a comment about how he knows how easy it is to mask an image on a plain grey background (IOW an image that was already masked). but he misses the whole point, which is that his method doesn't work well on an image with a real rgb background IMVHO.

is CS3 shipping now? we bought CS2 about 3 weeks ago and were told we could upgrade to cs3 for free, Adobe had me fill out an upgrade coupon but said it will not ship until August!
