Just got. Looking for tutorials and freebies -- if any -- that'll work in it.

Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Well here's one right out of the box with 2 veg's and that desert landscape tex..rendered in 20 min on my 3.3Celery with 512 RAM but it told me I should get more RAM or work with less complexity....LOL...suprised it rendered on this at all as it also only has an OnMotherBoard vid chip..not too obtrusive a watermark either or is that a Logo and the dreaded watermark comes in 30 days...hmmmm.. ...

Very nice!
Best freebie I have seen since ages. FInally a way to test out infinite/Xstream functions without the need to buy them first. =)

Crashed the bejabers out of it even on The Monster & got the same message about choosing less complex scenes or getting more RAM. Already have over 1 gig & that don't happen w/Poser and Carrara. Ah well, try again.
And that's the Logo, looks indeed like the watermark comes in 30 days. But no idea how obtrusive/messy it's gonna be. Still a great way to learn Vue, though.

I think I recall from their hype page that it would really like 2G RAM to function nicely, that's a ways off for me I'll tell ya....too much other hardware I need to upgrade. When I can afford the full V6I I feel certain I'll be able to afford some RAM as well, should have come down in price a bit by then...LOL.. ...
