Hello!
I've made a genital body part on Nea2 based on Eve's hip
However since the geometry is changed it can no longer take Eve's morphs
Is it possible to transfer them in the new body part?
I put the nudity flag in case I have to send an image after...

Can Tailor do it, Was there not a tutorial at Daz that showed how to do it?

Spanki and I have been working on a Python script called TDMT. It is at the top of the page in the scripts link in my sigline. The main Rosity thread about the script is also linked there....
The script seems to work for most cases like the one you seem to have, which has been extensively tested by JoePublic. Apparently some meshes can have problems in the comparison process, as is recently revealed in the script thread....
On edit: I used the script myself, for the creation of a genital hip for V1....

The geometry is changed
I post an image that shows eve hip nad the new bodypart I added on Nea2 that is attached on the hip...

Wow!
Huge Post! I remember reading this once in the past but it was quite difficult to follow
I tried! It really transfers the shape but due to geometry change the morphs become quite exploded
However I must say I'm impressed! That script seams to have great potentials! Very nice job! :thumbupboth:
(for some reason I can't post an image...)

I hope it is helpful in your situation.

Nope I'm afraid it didn't worked this time
Anyway I guess Nea'2 will not have genital morphs...
Thanks anyway for the reply!

Can you e-mail me the files? NEA is based on Posette, right? I can try to do the transfer for you. I'm curious about why it might fail, and it might help with de-bugging if I can give it a shot. I can't offer to do that with some of the figures people have tried to use, but I do have Posette. :-P

Yes I can send you the files!
The script worked just fine!
It is just that the morphs come out a bit "wavy"
Actually what I've done is to cut eve's hip and using it as a new bodypart attached on Nea's hip that turns on with alternative geometry

Better not post it at PosetteForever, they just banned my nephew for posting a render there. But his real sin was being related to me.

Heh, Mr Hoadley. I bet a few members here have a story to tell about that site.
Or rather whoever runs it. He/she posted such a really really rude reply to someone trying to contribute there that impulsively I posted a single comment here of "How rude!" A few weeks later (it must have taken that long to hunt down an alternative e-mail I use) , I get mail from them to say my 'account' at PosetteForever has been deleted.
There are some valuable contributors there but this administrator simply beat me to deleting my account first. Who needs to deal with such a rude vindictive and thin-skinned character anyway.
Good riddance I say. :)

*Sorry for the delayed response. I wasn't getting e-bots. That keeps happening to me....
I ran some Posette-Eve3 comparisons. They had some problems. It looks like the Eve mesh may have been slightly re-positioned, relative to the Posette mesh. Not enough so to create problems for Poser, but enough to confuse TDMT. I finally got good results by scaling down Eve's Body to about 99.5% before I ran the comparison. You might try that.
If it doesn't work, I'll be happy to give it a shot. My e-mail is CagedreiATaol.com. Replace the "AT" with the "@". :)

*Do you have Vicky 1 or 2? The techniques I used for the genitals hip I posted above might be of interest to you. Among other things, it swaps out the hip using a pose, rather than the usual dial. Using the swap dial causes various problems and complications. And the geom swap may have something to do with the TDMT troubles....

I'll give that scaling think and I'll let you know!
I cleaned up the mesh on the new a bit but still some points are not symmetric...
Actually the problem started like that! the Eve hip after exporting and re importing like a morph on Poser creates a wrong polygons message! Eve if I don't make anything on the mesh just exporting and re-importing and I get the message!
What I was planning first was to have the Eve hip hidden inside the Nea hip and only the genital part to be visible, than transferring the morphs with morph manager would work!
So I get to plan "B" cutted only the genital part and used that as alternative prop
As for alternative geometry in the first occasion I made another eve with the new hip as default and retried to transfer the new wings morph on the old Eve hip... but than TDMT got a wrong message...
dphoadley posted Tue, 17 April 2007 at 12:55 AM
Try using Hellborns original hip prop, i.e. The P3 Posette WWG. When Arduino cut the P3 hip to install the prop into P4 Posette, he damaged a few facets. everytime i've tried remapping this figure, I've ended up with holes from missing facets. Stahlratte had problems with Eve4's hip, when trying ot make his Evelyn clone. So go back to the origin of this genital geometry, and try using it instead.

Woof. I tried similar things a couple of years ago. I had a version of Eve with the Judy genitalia added. The process broke the morphs and I had to try to recreate them. No fun. I am no Traveler! :-P
I added Traveler's VgenHip, posted way back when at Thralldom.org, to V1, at one point. I worked out a complex method for transferring the morphs, using the Grouping tool and the re-order vertices option in UVMapper Pro. That worked fairly well. Unfortunately, the VgenHip was not allowed to be redistributed.
So it looks like TDMT would need to compare the original Eve genitals to the body part you've spawned from them. I think I still have a fully-functioning Eve somewhere in my library. If you want, I can work on the morph transfers.
The Eve genitals have something wrong with the geometry, at least the version I worked with. The mesh could not be imported properly into Wings. I never figured out why. It might have been due to what looked like a few holes in the mesh, which were hidden in the interior areas. Hmm. I stopped using them, then, because I couldn't use my available tools to morph them. (Edit: Oopsie. DPHoadley already mentioned that....)

Glad to hear someone else has the same problem too!
That eve hip acts really strange the whole work I made for Plan A was worthless because it can'r come out of Wings correct... that's why I got to plan B...
Is there any other genital prop that doesn't have copyright restrictions out there?
I send you the files  Thanks!
dphoadley posted Tue, 17 April 2007 at 1:18 AM
Again I say, use Hellborns P3 mesh instead, and go from there. It's the original source for all the P4WWG and Eve genitals. I myself have given up on both P4WWG, Anywomen (exact same figure, different name and distributor), Eve 4; I'm thinking of remapping the P3 WWG instead after cloning with PosetteV3's head, forearms, hands, shins and feet (no need to remap these exact same parts twice, I'm thinking). The biggest difference between P3 Posette and P4 Posette is in the number of vetices in the derriere' and thighs (they're less by about a third to a half); and the cut of the Chest, Collar, and Shoulder group is a bit different. But given a proper texture configuration, this could prove to be a most viable figure, and one that is even easier on system resources.

Thanks David!
I'll give it a try or else I'll stick to plan B wchich works really fine except that the new genital can't take Eve morphs... Nobody is perfect I guess!
dphoadley posted Tue, 17 April 2007 at 1:44 AM
I have a copy of Hellborn's figure, which I can send you. Pluse his Cr2 has a few interesting MT's which you might find usefull. This is the SAME Cr2 (except for the genital MT's in the hip) which is distributed by Confuscious as the Universal Morph Woman (or some such name).
P3 had no conforming clothing, but managed to get around this obstacle by developing morphs in the forearms, breast, hips to be textured by a 2nd skin as shirts, skirts, cut-off tops, gloves, and pants. Remapped to V3, these aspects of the figure could really shine.

I started form P3! P3 woman was my first Posette!
Actually since I got P4 late those morphed clothes was the only solution back then for P3!

Your account at Posetteforever can be deleted for 2 reasons:
-Violation of our TOS
-Account never activated, never signed in for a week after registration.
Your case is the second and it's automatic, so you can blame our forum system and not an admin. BTW this sytem works very well keeping in the database only active users as we don't care of show tons of people that never logs in, plus an user that for whatever reason never received its activation email can register again with the same username and email after a week. It's ridiculous to think that we're hunting your email address, a person who knows a little about the internet should know that it's impossible, even because your contribution to the site was nothing if not spread some dirt in this thread.
About you dphoadley, let's keep it clear, you've been banned for posting pictures that violated our TOS in our album, you've been warned several times, but you would try what was our limit and you reached it. You've not the same pictures here at renderosity, they have even a lower linit but they have paid moderators that have the time to follow you, we have not them because we don't sell anything and we have not even spam or commercial banners so after three warnings we ban the user and that's all . If you or your nephew or all the members of you family keep signing in the site posting the same kind of pictures we don't even warn, we simply look at the IP address and act conseguently. We wont eat our heart out lol , we're a little community of friends who have fun with their creations, we're not competitive against anything and we care of our fun, so we really don't understant why we have to eat our hearts out ...

Sorry dphoadley, but I don't understand... What we should suffer for ? I can be stupid but I don't see any connection with your file and the "suffering" of Posetteforever. Maybe because it is a Posette ? LOL, tons of Posette items are shared elsewhere, one example is Nea by Pitklad or Eve by Arduino that's my favourite Posette. People simply go and take the file where it is, then, if they want, they can discuss on the forum or share their pictures in the album. We simply update our links list and use your file where we want and every time we want for our pictures. We have this file in our links list with all the other ones, this is the reason why, for example, some people there complained about the use of copyrighted material in the file... You can even check our album and see some pictures made with this Posette clone (maybe this is a little difficult for you...). So I don't see what we should suffer for , or what this version of Posette should vindicate. We have a site for the fun of our friends, we're not in competition against other sites, we have no contests, no rankings, no banners, no stores. So said maybe you could explain what we should suffer for, reading what you wrote it looks like that this Posette V3 is made for vengeance, this is a way of thinking that I don't understand, maybe because I don't make art with anger and above all because no one at PF is restricted to take this file and do what they want with it. But... Thinking about it, if you work better with this anger or from being physically or emotionally abused maybe i can help you so that you will be faster in sharing your files...
