I was messing around with Poser 5 the other day after not using it for a few years and all went well. I was able to conform the clothing to the body with no problem.
Tonight, I went to create a new figure, added the hair (parented the hair to the hair) and then added clothing. When I went to figure--> conform, the conform was grayed out. How do I get it back?

Can you perhaps post a screenshot of this? If it's grayed out that might mean that it's not a conformed item. What figure? What cloths & what kind of hair?

Here are the screenshots of each step I did:
www.soniascreations.com/poser1.jpg Judy nude HIRes
www.soniascreations.com/poser2.jpg hair - neftis long wavv F, parent to head
www.soniascreations.com/poser3.jpg added dress - p5womens beach dress.
Now yesterday, when I was playing with it, I was sure that when I added the dress another layer was added under the Figure 1?
I also tried to mimic what I had done yesterday, using the steps in this tutorial: www.associatedcontent.com/article/100162/index.html
but was unable to conform the clothing again.
Here is what I did yesterday: www.soniascreations.com/graphics/poser/leopard_fairy.jpg

That dress for Judy is dynamic clothing I believe and you can't conform it. You have to take it into the cloth room to make it fit her when she is posed. Also in the your picture 3 you have the skullcap as the selected item. That is also a prop I think, and cannot be conformed.

Got it! Thanks very much for all your help. Yes, the dress was not a conformable item, and I was on the wrong layer. ~~knocks self on head~~
I'll get this yet. :)
