Well my DC trip was great cold, and a little rainy but great overall. I will post several of my favorite shots once I sift thru the some 8 gigs I took over the past week, a few may be the touristy type but many will be things that jsut caught my eye.

It east can be the first question to be posed in front of an image which allures us: let us be allures by the subject (a pretty girl, a beautiful guy, a nice child, a landscape of dream…) or by the way in which this beautiful subject is emphasized?

Ø      If it is by the subject, it is that one likes the subject but not inevitably the photograph!

Ø      If it is by the image, it is because:

·        we include/understand immediately which is the subject.

·        Our glance is not distracted by other subjects.

when there are several subjects, we include/understand why they are reproduced sets on the image. None disturbs. There is a logic in the way in which the subjects are laid out.

This logic is suggested by “rules” of composition, like that of the 1/3 2/3, or that of the provision of the strong points and the lines of guidance.

CAUTION: these rules is not imperative! It is those which generally go. Certain subjects can claim another logic…
