Attached Link: Fran's Freebies
I only recently managed to figure out how to upload freebies. Mostly due to the Hosting site ShareCG, they make it so simple.
I just uploaded some car paints, these are Bryce 6 made though and may not be visible here yet. But the textures are.
These are all fairly large resolution images up to 2048x2048, and include:
CourseTreeBark
SnowyRoof
Concrete
DenseSnowyRoof
BirchBark
YellowLichen
TomatoSlice
DesertWallThumrait
StarMoonCloth
RustyPaintedMetal
RoofTilesSquareTiled
BlueSlateGravelSQ
BrickAirVent
Ivy
WoodPanelFence
BlueTarpaulin
I also include a piccy of the soon (I hope) to be cleared car paints. They will be available inside a zipped file at 367.84 KB.
(Um... is this okay? Am I doing this right?)

The textures should work in any 3d program that can use photo images, (they are jpegs) they certainly work in Cinema4D, and Carrara. But I don't have Vue nor do I know how it works, so I can't say if photo images are useable in it.
The car paints on the other hand are Bryce only as they are procedural mats, made in Bryce 6.
Actually, I've been amazed at how popular the Blue Tarpaulin is, it's beaten all my other textures hands down - now that's weird!
But then I felt pretty weird taking the photo.... Lol!

I understand that you mean't to have such mats in Vue, that I get, but can you exlain exactly what you are proposing?
I'm also not actually sure that Bryce mats CAN be used in another program, so how would you expect to do that?

If you have the original photos (before they came materials) then all I would have to do is mat them to be used in Vue.
You would still get the credit for providing the material, all I would be doing is making the mats for Vue.
Anyway If its to much trouble all understand.

Ah, I see, I did wonder. I'm afraid that's not possible as these materials were not made from photos - they are all created from scratch inside Bryce.
I do often make Bryce materials by first using a photo, (and have some of those still and hope to do more in the future) but not in this case.
It's a shame that more Bryce things are not exportable like the materials, but hey, we didn't used to be able to export more than rocks and terrains, now we can export booleaned models - so who knows what may happen in the future.
Sorry.
That's the car mats... but the other textures are simply photos, so should already be useable in Vue - if Vue can, like other 3D progs, use image textures.
By the way I just put some more image textures up as well as some more Bryce procedural mats.
Will provide a link in a new thread...

Pity, but there we are...
...of course, I could take a photo of my grubby car... and use that, but I doubt anyone would want it. My husband doesn't. He has a mental list of all the local car washes. Lol!
