I just uploaded some more new textures. They are:

BarkMulch

A fully tiled 2048x2048 texture, tiled by hand and has been tested on a cube as well as an infinite plane, in Bryce6 and no appreciable patterning is evident. This photo was taken in the grounds of my Surrey college in full sun.  Works well in various situations, for architectural images, landscapes, gardens around the house, would even work in a forest or a window box.

For use with 3D programs, i.e. Bryce, Poser, Wings3D, Blender, Carrara, Cinema4D and many others.  Free to use for commercial and non-commercial works.

2048x2048 tiled texture.works well on both infinite plains and other objects – I tried it on the pavement of a street model I made where it worked very well.  Especially when used in conjunction with FirstMeltSnow which I placed on the road itself.  This texture is ready tiled by hand for use on a variety of models, architectural, landscapes, gardens, industrial areas, roads, paths, alleys, streets, pavements, sidewalks, boulevards… etc.

FirstMeltSnow

2048x2048 tiled texture.works well on both infinite planes and other objects.  I used this together with the “SnowyFootprints” on my street model, with the FirstMeltSnow on the road itself, this texture has no footprints but a few melted areas where drops of water have fallen on the thin snow.  Taken in Surrey, England in the courtyard, so dark wet concrete almost shows through.  Excellent for architectural models, landscapes, industrial areas, streets, roads, paths, yards, courtyards, even gardens or other surfaces where snow may fall.

StoneSundial

This is a real stone sundial, positioned on the exterior wall of a building in Surrey England, it is not modern and in fact was rescued from the ruins of the older building after a fire. The gnomon (pointer) is I think wrought iron, but does not look original, even if it is, it has certainly been replaced as the sun’s mouth is filled in with new material to hold the pointer.

For use on any building, but would look best on older buildings. The stone is I think some sort of sandstone. Use in architectural models, landscapes (could be placed in a garden), industrial areas if on a main headquarters type building, could look excellent in conjunction with an Elizabethan knott garden.  Let your imagination run riot!

For use with 3D programs, i.e. Bryce, Poser, Wings3D, Blender, Carrara, Cinema4D and many others.  Free to use for commercial and non-commercial works.

FirstMeltSnowBright

2048x2048 tiled texture.  Brighter version than the original. Works well on both infinite planes and other objects. I used this together with the SnowyFootprints on my street model, with the FirstMeltSnow on the road itself, this texture has no footprints but a few melted areas where drops of water have fallen on the thin snow. Taken in Surrey, England in the courtyard, so dark wet concrete almost shows through. Excellent for architectural models, landscapes, industrial areas, streets, roads, paths, yards, courtyards, even gardens or other surfaces where snow may fall. BrickAirVentOld

An older type of brick air vent, hand-made by building up tiles as you see.

Useful for various building projects, adding those extra little details.

For use with 3D programs, i.e. Bryce, Poser, Wings3D, Blender, Carrara, Cinema4D and many others.  Free to use for commercial and non-commercial works.

I hope you enjoy them, I also have some more metal mats in the pipeline, but I'll use a new thread for that.
