I need to be able to pose it back like that - which is the biggest problem Im having with any hair I find - I am attempting to recreate this image in poser.

Thanks in advance!

Long and posable, eh?  Perhaps AprilYSH's Sylphiad Hair, at DAZ ....

Are you any good with magnets?

jjroland posted Mon, 30 April 2007 at 10:29 PM

Nope - if there was a prize for being absolutely unable to use magnets I would win it.  I can't figure those suckers out to save my life  : /
Thank you for the suggestion, I will look for that one!

Well that makes me sad!  That hair would have been PERFECT, but it needs to be for V4 or at the very least have a fit for V4 = (

There is a fit for V4 at April's website - http://aprilsvanity.com/dlpage.php, as well as for David, Hiro, Michael, & Aiko

Making a hair prop fit characters it wasn't planned to fit is very easy. This can be achieved merely by using the trans and size dials in most--if not all--instances.

If you find Poser hair that looks and poses like that - please let us know!

In the meantime, you might consider ilona's Instant Hair packs. They are Photoshop layers you can comp your image with in post.  Here's one of her 9 packs:

That's a beautiful image, good luck in your efforts.

Well I got that hair from DAZ and it definately is closer to what I hoped than anything else I've tried so far.   And a really beautiful hair to boot.

I really do wish there was a such thing as fully poseable hair though.   As many hairs as I have purchased in the last few weeks attempting to find something that actually just went back off the shoulders rather than flew back - is just crazy.

Thanks for help, suggestions, and well wishes!

i use "MAKiiiNO´s  "Couture Hair - Spring-Version"
as all the pieces are separate and can be moved and positioned any way you want.
works great for poses like the one above.

Attached Link: Danae's Wild Hair would be a good choice.

If you are doing stills, and not animating, you might considered using two hair models at the same time -- a short one for the head cover and another, not conformed, for the falling portion.

I am doing stills.  That is another good idea.  I did get the first hair mentioned and am trying to give that a go.  It's not identacle to the original work - but I can't get the snake to look like that either snicker so I'm going for an as close as possible effort = )
