Hi all,
gunsan is taking a small break and has asked me to post the challenge. Here it is in gunsan's own words:
Hi, and thanks for this message!
I have a little "creative pause" from RR now, it is important to take a break now and then. I have been a steady member for 6½ years now., so a pause is essential.not to get burdened of it.
I pondered what I would want as a theme, and why not that what my mind is full of just now.
FLOWERS.
But not just photos or paintings of ordinary flowers, but very personal interpretation of flowers.
There are thousends of flowers, that can give inspiration to strange interpretations, fairy flowers as well as man-eating flowers or fractal flowers, just to name a few.
Let us see how long your (and mine) fantasy can´reach!!!
Happy spring
Hugs - Gun
The Challenge begins immediately and will close to entries on May 27, 2007 at 11:59 PM Renderosity time. Voting will begin then and last until May 30, 2007 at 11:59 PM Renderosity time. I will total and announce the results on May 31, 2007.
Let's see what you got!

My Mom was blind for my entire life. I was always using words to paint for her. She loved flowers, but Lilacs were her favorite. I wrote this when I was thirteen or so.
Lilacs are the smell of the air after a spring rain, and the sun is out.
They are the smell of Nana's neck during a thunderstorm, and I am on her lap.
They are the smell of home, just at sundown, and evening breezes stir.
Lilacs are the taste of blueberries, still hot from the sun.
They are the taste of the first barbecue of spring.
They are the taste of ice cream at the Dairy, while we feed the ducks.
Lilacs are the sound of the tree frogs, peeping in the night.
They are the sound of spring rain on the tin roof of the back porch.
They are the sound of children laughing, as they blow dandilion seeds.
Lilacs feel like berries heavey on the vine.
They feel like tiny faerie kisses, when you lay them on your cheek.
They feel like cool little pieces of heaven, tied in a tiny bundle.
Lilacs are the first flowers of the spring, they will always mean thay winter's gone.
They will always drench the air with their sweet perfume, so we will know.
It's safe to stay out later, and leave our jackets home. They will always be an invitation to come out and fall asleep in the porch swing listening to the night's song.

Hi evielouise,
There is no approval process first, your entry should have been posted. One of two things could have happened. If it took very long to make the post, you may have timed out. If it didn't take very long, it's possible that you chose the button "preview reply" instead of "post reply". That would have put it on hold, and if you exited out, it would have been lost. Please repost your entry, we would love to see it!
