Subject: First renders...

OK, I just wanted to share these with you - my first ever fractals.  C+C is welcome!  I used Apophysis for these.

This was actually my second render (the first was appaling and got deleted - that was just mucking about in the variations box.)  This was literally just following a tutorial, but near the end I was getting more confident, and was putting in my own little twists:

Jewels of Atlantis

I then used the knowledge that the tutorial had given me to create this one, which I actually class as my first 'proper' render, since I wasn't following a list of instructions to get it.

I don't work with Apophysis, but these images look great to me. Those jewels are really impressive. Welcome!

Thanks, Yvonne!  Here's another new one (for some reason, it won;t let me upload it to the gallery.  I think because I render at such a high quality it increases my file-size too much.)
