I use easy thumbnails which makes thumbs at 200 pixals. In the Genre challenge the thumbs can't exceed 100x100 and 15kb. I'm having a bit of trouble getting them to that size. I've tried making a thumbnail in the usual way (200pixals) and the reducing that by 50% and the file size almost trebled??? Any quick and simple way to make 100pixal under 15Kb anyone?
Thanks

Ummmmmmmm why don't you make the thumbnail 100 max size to start with ?
Click on : Settings > change the dimension in both boxes to 100 and the last box to best fit.
Click on: Preview Output > hold your mouse over the thumbnail and it will tell you what size file it is.
If it is still too big the reduce the: Jpeg Quality slider a little .
